To get started using Workday, follow these steps:

Step 1: Verify that Your Web Browser Supports Workday

To provide optimal performance and security for your Workday desktop browser experience, Workday supports the following browsers:

Browser Version
Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.x or higher
Mozilla Firefox 35 or higher
Google Chrome 31 or higher
Apple Safari 6.x or higher
Only supported on Mac OS X.
Safari for mobile is currently supported by Workday’s HTML browser application for the latest iOS phone.
BlackBerry Browser BlackBerry 10 phones are supported by Workday’s HTML browser application.

Step 2: Go to the Workday Website

Click on the Sign in to Workday button shown here or at the top right corner of any page to go to the Workday website.

Step 3: Sign in to Workday

Enter your user name and password to sign in to Workday. Your user name is your Ensign Employee ID. The first time you sign in, your password is the first three letters of your last name (ALL CAPS) + your four digit year of birth + !

For example, if your last name is Smith and you were born in 1975, your password is SMI1975!

You can change your password once you are signed in to Workday.
